What's new in Windows 11 Insider build 22598
On April 13, 2022, Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channels received Windows 11 build 22598. This is a build of Nickel, the 22H2 development semester which will likely release as version 22H2 (codenamed Sun Valley 2) in the 2nd half of this year.
As builds get smaller and smaller, the amount of features and changes decreases – build 22598 is no exception, with just a few. The most notable changes are with Windows Spotlight – which may soon be the default background for clean installs of Windows 11.

BASICALLY, NOTHING…
EDIT 4/19: Second small update now available – 22598.200
Again, purely servicing pipeline testing. No hidden Tabs in file explorer
Update now available – 22598.100
Purely a test of servicing pipelines and a huge disappointment if you were counting on it to bring tabs (as 22579.100 and 22581.100 did) – no tabs, the velocity ID was removed in this update (from the branch anyway – tabs haven't been seen in builds 22593+) Microsoft really doubled down on hiding tabs from everyone, huh?

I love how you put the Nostalgic Windows XP installation welcome music. Miss the golden age of Microsoft.
