After watching this video, I was skeptical, I have a 15inc macbook pro 2012 and a few others along with a 2.4ghz 17inc 2008, decided to give it a try. Installed monterey with windows on the 15inch using an old drive, pop it into the 2008, boot was extremely slow due to 2gb ram and 120gb old hdd, lo n behold, everything booted up on the 2008!

splendid it works, got a non retina macbook pro 15 2012 from a mate and followed the process and took out my hard drive out smack it on the 17 2008 and boom! it works! i didnt even get windows 11 to work when i tried many methods even online there's no tutorials. your trick works. brightness and bootcamp manager works flawlessly! you're a genius! you should be getting a million subs

I recently hunted one of these Macbooks but unfortunately got one with a failing gpu. That makes mine the 602 chip? Thank you cause your videos made me go all out looking for these gems.
