Shang Tsung is the most annoying part of this… Missile Gap and Weather Warfare are what make this guy so annoyingly broken… It really sucks that Day of the Dead Jade barely ever works and Treacherous Tanya is close to useless… THIS IS THE WORST BATTLE IN KOLD WAR TOWER EVER!!!
This stupid battle cost me 23(!) tries. Shang Tsung is just one motherf… .
I used stun resist gear to SF Johnny and he destroyed Shang tsung with SF team in 2 tries without using Treacherous Tanya
I use triborg subzero triborg smoke and aftershock tremor

I am playing kold war tower for the first time. No good gears. I used Tanya to broke and used incurability setup on koldwar Sonya and continuous special 2 . Got to 50 % health and continued to use koldwar Sonya with incurability with special 2
Taken a lot of tries.. though
My advice if possible try do decrease shangshung health and die to other two characters. Because if Shang shung is the last character he will heal like crazy.
And reset really helps.

I cannot believe i completed Level 160 using Gold team. I did it just 3 tries. Used Trecharous tanya, kombat cup Johny cage and Covert ops casie cage. Used 1 unblockable(revolver) and 2 power generation gears on Tanya. I regret not recording it and reason being even i did not expect it to go so well.
I just beat this with:
Treacherous Tanya f4 (revolvers fx, storm hat fx, toxic fruit fx)
Smoke Triborg fx (sento fx, dark mantle f6, bloody mary fx)
Quan Chi f3 (bound demon f9), just to get a second shot at tanya because ST's missile gap kills her so quickly
I have fusion 5 KC Johnny, fusion 4 KC Sonya, and fusion 1 Klassic Sonya with only uncommon and common tower equipment. Beat this battle by doing damage to the whole team and not dying to Shang Sung. Kept resetting and took me 14 tries. But the strategy works.
I defeated shang tsung with tanya, kc johnny and klassic kitanna
Battle 200 boss kold war skarlets regen was ridiculious
On level 20 I got klassic noob
so why demon bat lol , that equipment has no effects in this tower it's from the nightmare tower
I used MK11 Jade to snare Skarlet and killed her, then repeat the same trick with Sub-zero – finished those two off in one fight. After that, I switched to a team of Injustice Raiden, Klassic Liu Kang, and Spec Ops Scorpion. Raiden was able to finish Shang Tsung in one fight with some help from Liu Kang.
I knew you mentioned it in a video the other day, but damn…. Was trying to beat the whole tower with f4 kold war skarlett and f10 kw Sonja and sub zero…
This one messed that up, had to switch to SF Johnny and scorpion with klassic liu Kang to take down Shang tsung (Johnny wiped him out without having to tag)
@starinsky you made that look easy. What's your talent tree look like? This has been beaten by gold team see crisplaytv — it wasn't so bad. https://youtu.be/3D7Zors9wh4 it's how I had to do it -_- only f6 Klassic Liu Kang and f2 injustice Raiden. The talent tree is the key though.
Truthfully this is the most difficult battle of the tower. It goes from from difficulty 4 to 11 for 160 and then stays around 5 the rest of way
Why that demon bat is there on injustice 2 raiden?

Hey star, or anyone in the comments, can you suggest any gear I should get from the faction shop. (I maxed blazes life force already)
I gave up on trying to beat it, now I just quit every match lol and hope for the best
I finished this tower and I got kold wor scorpion
I gave up at battle 120 only have fusion 5 cos lul kang and maxed gold lul kang and maxed out Johnny cage I can’t beat them
