  1. Nice. Really makes it feel modern and stands out from Chrome. It also enhances the GUI affordances, as it is easier to see when the Window is active now that the mica effect is on a twice as tall surface. It could be a bit confusing which window was active when in came to Edge, both with and without Mica before. Especially in a two-window split setup with Visual Studio Code and dark mode on. (It was kinda unintuitive which window was active and I often alt+tab-ed to the wrong window and started typing.

  2. i love your channel Emmanuel (hope thats spelled right). I myself absolutely love testing out the new features and having you there to simply show the latest updates and the way you explain it to us is very unique yet accurate and simple.

Thank you for making a beta tester more enjoyable

  3. IMPORTANT: Mica effect is not really shown in this video, he should have turned off "Show accent color on title bars and windows borders" on Settings > Personalization > Colors (not in edge, but in the w11 settings app)

  4. If you sign out from the Edge browser, then it'll ask to set up the browser from the beginning. There you'll find a new theme which is not present in the theme section (I don't remember what's that theme called, but it was like new theme that matches Windows 11….). I was hoping this flag will enable that theme.
