How to add favicon to WordPress ?
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website, blog, or app. Favicon is an icon associated with a website or webpage intended to be used when you bookmark the web page. Web browsers use them in the URL bar, on tabs, and elsewhere to help identify a website visually. Want your own favicon for your site but unsure how to do it? This tutorial will show you how to add a favicon in WordPress site.
A favicon is typically a graphic 16 x 16 pixels square and is saved as favicon.ico in the root directory of your server. You can use a favicon with any WordPress blog on a web server that allows access to the root directories.
Steps :
1. Login your WordPress blog
2. Login your Cpanel account
3. Open File Manager
4. Upload the Favicon
5. Back to your WordPress admin
6. Edit your WordPress theme
7. Go to header.php
8. Enter the code from video subtitle
9. Select Update file
10. View your WordPress site
11. DONE
