Elementor Tutorial: How to Connect a Popup with MailChimp List

Here is the deal: even though popups can be annoying, they are still effective at what they are trying to accomplish (like, collecting email addresses).
In this video, I show steps on how to create a popup which contains an opt-in form, and then how to connect this popup optin to your MailChimp email list.
In particular, I go through the following topics:
– How to create a popup with Elementor Pro.
– How to modify an existing form template and then transform it into an opt-in form.
– What different settings there are related to an optin form.
– Why you should set the form field as mandatory (and also the correct form field type).
– How to set the behavior of your popup, and what different options you have related to this.
– How to create an email list in MailChimp.
– What is an API key and why you need it when hooking up an optin form with MailChimp.
– What particular setting to set when you want to connect the newly created popup optin form to your email list.
This video is a lengthy one and it contains all the steps needed to build a simple optin form, create an email list with MailChimp, and then connect the popup optin with the email list.

Great video.. but I’m confused on “default value” where you give your ID a name, you said we’ve to give it a number also? Would have likening to see you complete it… Do I just put form_field_id. as you have it? eitherway i cannot get this to work…

Okay, so now I have it connected but the problem I'm having now is that it's opening up a news letter page that I don't want?
The API is connected, however the mailchimp is not showing up for my pop up?

hey, thanks. How do you get mailchimp to auto send the Final welcome form? we are trying to have the pop up when fields are sent, send an instant e mail with a .pdf to them?
