  1. You didn't mention the possibility that win 11 might be one more unnecessary headache. I downloaded it to my desktop, once it was on and running I put it on my laptop also. After using the desktop for a while, the one glaring problem was that the machine was slow as oozing mud. Pages loaded slow, browsers opened slow, just a pain in the neck. So, having had some experience with MS before, I removed the install, went back to win10. Did the same on my laptop. Now on the laptop I keep getting msgs saying to restart my computer to install win11. This is garbage! I did search out what to do if win11 runs slow and of course there were tons of sites saying what to do in this instance. That tells me that is not a well thought-out program and they're sticking us with it. I didn't buy this thing just to have to work on it and I'm no techie so I don't understand most of that gibberish anyway. So, just great. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

  2. Very useful, thanks! One question: I need to do this to upgrade the SSD on my new Surface Pro 8 for Business (expected in a few days). So, do I need to record the Windows 11 Pro key before doing this process and enter that key after installing with the bootable USB?

  3. I kept trying to download windows 11 disk image to a 32gb usb and it would get just over 4gb and fail saying device was full. Thanks so much for your video!
